Book Challenges!!

I know I mentioned book giveaways briefly in my last post, but something I failed to mention was book challenges. Are you seeing these everywhere, too?

I know I am. I even joined one today. I follow this lovely lady on twitter @chicklitplus, she is starting a challenge on her blog for the year. The basics of the blog are that you have to read 12 chick lit books within the year and that two of them have to be from debut authors. (That will be my real challenge.) My first book of the challenge is called Just Jane by Nancy Moser. It’s the second book in her Ladies in History series. I was googling what the other books in the series were and looking at her repertoire, I believe I will have to check out more of her novels.

I don’t really read much “chick lit”, but am anxious to start. Anyone read any chick lit that they’d like to recommend, or authors?

In other news, I stumbled across a site with literary tattoos and now I’m kind of wanting one. I keep telling Matt I want a new one, perhaps I’ll end up with two. Anyone have any literary tattoos?
