Below are the books I plan to read during September, whether it be books I've already started that I want to finish, ongoing books that I am in no rush to finish, and books I know I'll read start to finish this month.
Top to bottom:
A Clash of Kings by George R. R. Martin
The Complete Sherlock Holmes Vol. 1 by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
How The Irish Saved Civilization by Thomas Cahill (Finshed)
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman
In The Shadow of the Banyan by Vaddey Ratner
Most of the books are library books so I feel compelled to read those faster. Extremely Loud, Incredibly Close is a book club pick for September, so I will feel shame if I don't finish that one. How The Irish Saved Civilization is an interlibrary loan so I know that one will be done before it has to be mailed back as well.
Anansi Boys is part of the read along that I'm hosting in September and if you want to join you still can.
If you want to participate in this meme, all you have to do is take a photo and/or list the books you plan to read during the month. Other than that, how you set up your post is completely up to you. You can link up your posts below.
Can't wait to see what you're reading!!

Oooh, I'm excited to find out what you think of Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close... I adore the writing, but kind of really dislike one of the characters, so... a mixed bag of thoughts, really!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't finish it. I tried, but just ugh. I am going to watch the movie with the group and discuss though.
DeleteI should really start doing this! I used to last year, and it really did kind of help me stay focused and get more reading done. Maybe on one of my days off this week I'll browse my shelves and see what's what :)
ReplyDeleteI'd love you to join. I think it will help me. I've given myself some variety so I'm happy.
DeleteGreat books! I really need to get to Anansi Boys soon ... I think I can renew it still from the library. And Mara Dyer! I'm hoping to reread that one before the next one comes out ... I really liked it!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your reading!
